This cosy, newly constructed Chalet (completed December 2016) and is situated in La Tzoumaz in the Swiss Alps in the Canton of Valais. It sits at an altitude of just over 1550m and enjoys beautiful views over the Rhone Valley. It is part of the fabulous “Four Valleys” ski domain. The chalet comfortably accommodates 8 (although actually sleeps 10) spread over 5 bedrooms, with 4 bathrooms, a sauna and wireless internet throughout.

The Chalet is ideal for one or two families. It is self-catering although catering can also be arranged via a local restaurant. In summary:

AVAILABILITY & RATES

Prices are in Euros and for the whole chalet for one week on a self-catering basis. Change over day is Saturday. Included in the price are end of stay cleaning, towels, bathrobes, sauna towels, and firewood.

WHERE WE ARE

The Chalet is situated 300m below the main telecabine that whisks you up the mountain to the top of Savolyeres in just 8 minutes. Those who are looking for a more relaxed start to the day may wish to drive to the telecabine (2km) where there is free parking. However, the more adventurous among your group may choose to hike the 300m directly to the ski area on foot. After leaving the telecabine, you can then choose either to ski on the quieter La Tzoumaz side or to ski over to the famous Verbier slopes and the world class opportunities that the off-piste option offers.

GETTING HERE

By car
La Tzoumaz is located 160km South-East of Geneva Airport. The journey by car takes approximately 1.45 hours. From Geneva, follow signs to Lausanne, Martigny and then Sion. 15km beyond Martigny, exit the motorway for Riddes and follow the signs to La Tzoumaz. This is a short scenic climb of a few kilometres to the resort.

By train
The train system in Switzerland is extremely efficient. The journey from Geneva to Riddes requires only one change in Martigny. There is then a resort shuttle bus to bring you to the resort.

Flying
Geneva is the nearest international airport, serviced by most major carriers. Flights are also available, however, to Sion airport which is just ½ hour away. Swiss Air or a new airline, PowdAir, fly here during the Winter months.

Danke vielmals für Ihre ausführlichen Informationen über das Chalet. Sie haben nicht zu viel versprochen, eher zu wenig. Sie sollten mehr von der überwältigenden Schönheit des Chalets und der Aussicht preisgeben. Wir haben wirklich wunderschöne Bilder gemacht vor Ort.
Im Chalet mangelte es uns an nichts. Selbst wenn wir etwas gesucht haben, hatten alle 8 im Haus den selben Gedanken: „ Caroline hat bestimmt daran gedacht“. In der Tat fanden wir immer was wir gesucht haben.
Wir haben sie mehrmals positiv und dankbar erwähnt. Als 8-Köpfige Familie haben wir uns wirklich sehr wohlgefühlt. Die separaten Duschen in den Räumen waren ein purer Luxus. Ganz zu schweigen von der Sauberkeit des Chalets. Man merkt, dass das Chalet so eingerichtet wurde, dass man sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Wir ziehen es in Erwägung auch im Frühling ihr Chalet zu Buchen. Dafür würden wir gerne direkt mit Ihnen in Verbindung treten, natürlich wenn das Ihnen auch Recht ist.
